The Orlando Business Journal published their latest list of the top 25 Women Owned Businesses in Central Florida. AMTIS, Inc. was identified as number 6 on the list for this year. AMTIS, headquartered in Orlando has a local staff of over 28 people consisting of corporate staff and VBA Training Performance Support, with other Florida based contracts supporting U.S. Attorneys in the Miami area and Navy at Center for Information Dominance in Pensacola Florida, and curriculum development support in Jacksonville Fl. We also have an additional 150 employees in 14 different locations across the country supporting other Government agencies including Center for Disease Control, Navy, Army, FDA, DHHS, DOL, Dept. of State, and the Dept. of Veterans Affairs.

The Orlando Business Journal published their Florida Fast 100 List on Sep 18, 2015. To qualify for the list, companies had to be at least 51 percent privately held, headquartered within the Sunshine State, and maintained steady growth from 2012 through 2014. AMTIS was ranked number 33 with over 186% change in growth for that time period. President and CEO, Ms. Barbara Stankowski accepted the award at the OBJ ceremony on Sep 21, 2015 at the Citrus Club.
Inc. Magazine's annual 5,000 fastest-growing private companies in America list came out Aug. 12, 2015. Included on the list for the third year in a row was AMTIS, Inc. The list revealed that AMTIS earned the position of number 890 with a 3-year growth rate of 505%. AMTIS, Inc. was number 15 of the top 25 Orlando-based companies making the Inc. 5000 list for 2015 as reported by the Orlando Business Journal.

Rankings were determined by Omaha, Nebraska-based Quantum Workplace and are based on each firm’s score on an anonymous employee engagement survey.
To qualify for the small company category, firms must have 10-49 local employees in Central Florida. Quantum Workplace gathered the data for Orlando Business Journal and used a proprietary formula to rank companies based on employee feedback about their satisfaction with their workplace in categories ranging from team effectiveness to manager effectiveness, retention risks, alignment with company goals and more.

The Commonwealth Institute of South Florida congratulated the Top Women-Led Businesses of 2015. Based on the Commonwealth Institutes 2015 Top Women-Led Businesses Survey, they named the Top 50 Women-Led For-Profit and the Top 10 Women-Led Not-For-Profit Businesses in Florida. AMTIS, Inc. was identified as number 16 on the list of 50. The honorees were revealed along with the full survey results at our 10th Annual Awards Ceremony & Luncheon on April 2 at the Hilton Downtown Miami.

The Central Florida Disability Chamber of Commerce held the 2015 CFDC Veterans Business Initiative (VBI) kick-off on February 5th 2015 at the National Entrepreneur Center, Orlando, FL. This no-cost, 8-week program will run from February through March and features one 3-4 hour-long session per day for Veterans who are seeking entrepreneurship opportunities, employment, and continuing education. Several members of the AMTIS Team including the President and CEO Barbara Stankowski, HR Manager Kyle Keefe, HR Assistant Joe Myszkowski and Recruiter Connie Haymes participated in the kick off and will be supporting the March 12th session along with SCORE, Regions and ITT Tech. Read Golf Course, Naval Air Station, Pensacola, FL. The tournament produces over $3,000 each year for engineering and technology scholarships and grants for eligible students and teachers in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties.
